From One Long Balloon… to This! 🎈😂

Believe it or not…

This beautiful concrete bowl didn’t start with an expensive mold.

It started with one of those long, skinny balloons that clowns use to make balloon animals! 😂🎈

Yes… the kind that usually becomes a dachshund or a sword somehow ended up becoming home décor.

I blew it up, covered it in concrete, and then came the hardest part…

Waiting.

I checked on it way more than I should have, hoping somehow staring at it would make cement dry faster. (Spoiler alert: it doesn’t.)

Then came the moment of truth…

POP!

I held my breath, hoping I wasn’t about to have a pile of broken concrete and balloon confetti all over the table. Thankfully, it survived… and every time I make one, it comes out with its own unique curves and character.

That’s what I love most about handmade pieces. They’re perfectly imperfect, and no two are ever alike.

Now it’s gone from a goofy little balloon to a piece that can hold greenery, candles, seasonal décor, or simply be beautiful all on its own.

Who knew one long balloon from the party aisle could end up looking like this? 😂🤍
